Telford Kirk, Stoer
Although now roofless, this ruin is instantly recognisable as one of the 'parliamentary' kirks designed by Thomas Telford in the 1820s. The cross on the nearer gable is not part of the original design.

Welcome to Ross and Cromarty
This modern flat-deck bridge across the River Kirkaig may look insignificant but it carries the minor road across a county boundary. The river divides Sutherland to the north from Ross and Cromarty in the south.
