Lochinver Harbour

Trawlers land their catch at Lochinver and the prudent motorist keeps an eye open for fast-moving refrigerated lorries speeding southwards on the A837.

Lochinver Fish Market

Lochinver is a major port for landing white fish. The fish market was built in the 1990s as a result of a major renewal project.

Lochinver from Culag Woods Viewpoint

The River Inver reaches the sea here at the small fishing port of Lochinver. Low tide reveals seaweed-covered rocks. The harbour is at the south end of the bay.
