Stile over the deer-fence


A large area here has been fenced off (to protect from marauding deer) and planted with indigenous trees.

    I know stiles only from a Mother Goose rhyme ("he found a crooked sixpence beside a crooked stile").Thank you for posting a photo of an actual stile--complete with shadows!
