Old Bridge over River Inver

Spanning the turbulent River Inver, the arched bridge now carries only a minor road. The main road now crosses the river by a modern bridge about 100 yards to the north.

  1. Old World bridges like this aways excite me. I think that style of architecture is stunning in its simplicity and beauty. I wish we still built bridges like this one. Like it both in color and in black and white though I am going through a stage where I am drawn to the black and white. I posted my bridges in both mediums, too. genie

  2. The beautiful stone bridge stays the same, while the surrounding foliage grows.

  7. Any idea when this was constructed? It is maybe a few 'culverts'. The river sure is in a hurry to get somewhere.
