Welcome to Ross and Cromarty

This modern flat-deck bridge across the River Kirkaig may look insignificant but it carries the minor road across a county boundary. The river divides Sutherland to the north from Ross and Cromarty in the south.

    So in fact quite a significant bridge then! Love that it's surrounded by so much green lushness!

    Is there a sign at the other end that says Welcome to Sutherland?
    No bridge is really insignificant. Even is impassable, it is usually at least photogenic.
